| Also, try the current implementation in CDArchiving. When the About dialog
| is open, it's haven't the focus. The main dialog have always the focus
| (kabout dialog is non modal). It's little bit strong. How to fix that ?
From the top of my head, did you get the parent/child relationship right? The 
about dialog should have the main dialog as parent perhaps - just a wild 
guess.
