My bad .. and this was after I'd promised to be nice to translators and treat 
them with such love and respect as one might lavish on Konqui in Always mode 
.... sorry about that. I guess "respecting someone else's name-change" didn't 
register with me as changing translations. I think I need to be sent to a TL 
reeducation camp.

So yes, wherever it used to say Abbrowser it should say KAddressBook instead. 
Actually updating the .desktop file for the fixed translation looks pretty 
easy .. I can spot "Abbrowser" in all the languages except hu, lv, and uk, 
although I don't know if KAddressBook declines the same way Abbrowser does 
([sl] prek KAddressBookja?).
