I'm not fully happy with that decision (utf still causes some problems,
like completely screwing up desktop.po just before KDE2.1) but I won't
object.

Do we have any script for doing that? It's not difficult to write one,
just asking not to reinvent a wheel...
I have one more question. We (as a tema of Polish translators) plan to put
current Polish translations in cvs of PLD (Polish(ed) Linux Distribution),
which already hosts other translations efforts (manpages, localized
messages). I'm currently writing a script to keep this new cvs and KDE cvs
in sync. Has anyone done such thing before? Any disadvantages we haven't
foreseen?
