Thanks for pointing it out. Do you use an uptodate version of kbabel by
chance?
it saves now "UTF-8" while only desktop.pos with "utf8" and "utf-8" are
accepted.
I'll fix the check to accept kbabel's string too, then [fi] and [de]
should 
reappear out of the sudden :)
