:-))) Russian have special version of Apache which make coversion...
:-))) You have documents only in one prefferable encoding.

Yeps... But someone should write down Docbook page...
And that someone are we are - Russian team... And we need tools to do
this... And they should be acceptable for all our members... Otherwise
we will lose our translators... Trust me that for us loosing translator
much worse than converting to UNICODE... Maybe I am wrong... But this is
not the main goal of Russian team to move to UNICODE... The main goal
is to provide people with Russian docs. BTW, all unix platforms use KOI8-R
as base encoding... At least on which it is possible to run KDE.
