Also, the translations for the ‘NAME OF TRANSLATORS' and ‘EMAIL OF 
TRANSLATORS' are wrong. They should be *your* names and e-mail 
addresses. You can find more information on these special strings at

No, unfortunately, Lokalize does *not* do any ‘msgfmt -c'-style checks 
when saving files. See this old (2009) bug report 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=198872 (which I think was closed by 
mistake) and duplicated bug reports.

I think there once was a Lokalize script for this type of syntax check, 
but one had to manually set it up, and it was based on some Python 
bindings which never really worked.
