  The version should be definitely increased at this point.
  As the new de-facto maintainer, I'd say that you can bump the version to whatever \
version you want.  
  But:
  
  - if you want to align to the version of KDE Applications, which you don't need to, \
you should use the appropriate variables: \
                https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Application_Versioning
                
  - you can also go for an hybrid solution: a custom version number where the last \
digit is increased automatically, using the variables mentioned above. See for \
example the version number used by Okular: \
                https://cgit.kde.org/okular.git/tree/CMakeLists.txt#n9
  - even with a custom number, it is possible to have new bugzilla entries \
automatically generated; see the "Bugzilla versions" section of \
https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Application_Versioning
