Do you want to do it only for the Brasilian Portuguese language? What does the
translation team think about it?

If this is for all the language, then please no. The reference translation is
on the SVN and some team could not like it or could not like having mixed
contributions.

I would really prefer if there was a real work on a global centralized
solution for all programs, as described many times on this list.
That said, I can't force you to work on that, but I can't approve a separate
system just for one program.
