Unfortunately there is noone translating KDE software to Afrikaans at the
moment, so you would "be" the team (until you can convince someone else to
join).

My first suggestion is start translating frameworks, which are libraries used
by lots of applications.

Maybe you can translate say kio5.po, kwidgetsaddons5_qt.po and kxmlgui5.po to
around 100% and send it to me? (in private no need to smap the list with .po
files).

Once you've done that you will get an account so you can commit the
translations yourself.
