Albeit being German, I did not take German keyboards into account. :)
From the US-layout perspective however, the situation is that most keyboards have \
both name and sign and some keyboards have the words only. An example for the latter \
would be my laptop keyboard, which comes with a 2 years old laptop. [...]
Now, after searching on google a bit more, I also found some US layout keyboards with \
the sign only. So none of keycap or keysym is exactly right for all keyboards. So \
I'll leave this change it to your judgement.
