Thanks for the nice script.

GTK+-based apps (GNOME, Inkscape etc.) use two-component scheme with  =

intltool:

1. .xml.in (or svg) file with dummy underscored tags which is processed =
by  =

intltool to extract messages when "make po-update" run.
2. .xml files are the result of intltool processing during the build tim=
e.

It seems that it is possible to use itstool to process such XML files bu=
t  =

my experience is limited to some exercises with appdata.xml for Inkscape=
.
