Hi,

Lokalize uses xliff2odf from Translate Toolkit to translate files. A wild  
guess is that there is an incompatibility of formats or something like  
this.

Try to use xliff2odf from command line to see what is happenning.

xliff2odf -i work.xlf -o work-ar.odt -t work.odt
