I'm seeing some problems in amarok.po; hoping for clarifications from
the developers or other translators.

What does the %1 stand for here?

#: core-impl/collections/ipodcollection/handler/IpodHandler.cpp:363
#, kde-format
msgid "%1 the iPod Model is necessary to initialize the iPod"
msgstr ""

(similar issue with nearby strings).

I see several places where a variable seems like it should stand for a
number, but the string isn't a plural form string:

#: core-impl/collections/mediadevicecollection/handler/MediaDeviceHandler.cpp:597
#, kde-format
msgid "%1 tracks are already being deleted from the device."
msgstr ""

(or maybe it's not a number? if so, what is it?)

Same thing here:

#: databaseimporter/amarok14/FastForwardWorker.cpp:272
#, kde-format
msgid "Adding <b>%1 new tracks</b> to Amarok collection <b>%2</b>."
msgstr ""

...

#: databaseimporter/amarok14/FastForwardWorker.cpp:438
#, kde-format
msgid "Updating cached lyrics and labels for %1 tracks..."
msgstr "Liricí agus lipéid i dtaisce á nuashonrú le haghaidh %1 amhrán..."

...

#: databaseimporter/amarok14/FastForwardWorker.cpp:514
#, kde-format
msgid "Copied %1 cover images."
msgstr "Cóipeáladh %1 íomhá chlúdaigh."

Finally, there are two plural form strings which might need fixing:

#: core-impl/collections/ipodcollection/handler/IpodHandler.cpp:653
#, kde-format
msgctxt "@info"
msgid "One stale track removed from the database. Scan for orphaned tracks?"
msgid_plural "%1 tracks removed from the database. Scan for orphaned tracks?"

and

#: core-impl/collections/ipodcollection/handler/IpodHandler.cpp:2286
#, kde-format
msgctxt "@info"
msgid "One orphaned track added to the database."
msgid_plural "%1 tracks added to the database."

Note in the plural forms that the words "stale" and "orphaned" are missing.

Thanks
Kevin
