Also happens for Serbian. It seems any character not covered by ISO-8859-1 (i.e. Latin-1) encoding is converted to XML character entity, and the man page is written out in ISO-8859-1 instead of UTF-8. > Maybe it is system specific (I use Mandriva)? It's not system specific, in that installed man pages end up having these entities, which shouldn't happen (native man page format is troff, I think). So the DocBook-to-man step in the build chain of language packs is messing up. =2D-=20 Chusslove Illich (=D0=A7=D0=B0=D1=81=D0=BB=D0=B0=D0=B2 =D0=98=D0=BB=D0=B8= =D1=9B) Serbian KDE translation team --nextPart2581890.GAQE4auNiS Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iEYEABECAAYFAkt4EygACgkQMSGXgigGr3Ek/QCgotWJ2wAxpWLUxnVEK1QUNATz X98An2I5+azb368vy4OSAFfwMEm20TVK =ilN+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2581890.GAQE4auNiS--
