Hello,

I have backported yesterday a ksirk bug correction to the 4.1 branch. But I 
just realize that it breaks the string freeze as it adds a new string and it 
changes an old one for corherence... 

I'm sorry for that. If necessary, I can revert my change. What do you think ?
