Needless to say, we currently have the same problem for Norwegian, where the
quality of the translations in (K)Ubuntu is so low that it actually makes
some KDE applications impossible to use (e.g., where one string is
translated with completely opposite meaning than the original string or the
upstream translation).

I’m also working on translations for some projects that *do* use Launchpad
as upstream, and it’s, well, hell …
