No, when a programmer uses full markup it's because Qt Designer sucks and puts 
full markup :-)

As example, open Qt Designer, create a widget and drag a label, now write a 
tooltip that says:

This is text.
This is bold.

And make "This is bold." bold, now switch to the source tab and see how much 
code is there.

Now tellme if this developer wanted to force the direction of the text to LTR.
