Hi, Chusslove has written a nice XML checker for messages and docmessages. 
Lots of teams have problems in this regard.

You can see them in http://www.kde.cat/aacid/xml_errors/

I'll try to update this daily but can promise anything since the time to 
generate that results is about 2 hours (that's why i did not put that in KDE 
main servers either, they are overloaded already)

To obtain the results yourself and make sure all problems are fixed you have 
to do

export PYTHONPATH=/the/path/to/trunk/l10n-kde4/scripts/

/the/path/to/trunk/l10n-kde4/scripts/pology/scripts/posieve.py 
check-xml-kde4 /the/path/to/lang/messages/

/the/path/to/trunk/l10n-kde4/scripts/pology/scripts/posieve.py 
check-xml-docbook4 /the/path/to/lang/docmessages/

Ask if you have problems understanding/fixing any reported issue.
