you can't even write the glyph क yourself, but want to make a whole
desktop environment project switch?

KDE is free and open source. Please feel free to create a "non-suicidal"
fork of your own. Since it's open source, you should also be able to
find out anything you need about how to do that on your own.

I've heard about other people creating a fork of Linux (or was it BSD?)
without the word "daemon", which apparently hurt their religious
feelings, so you should be fine doing it - at least as long as you don't
infringe on the licenses, copyrights etc. Perhaps those "anti-daemon"
people will help you.

Please do that, rather than barking fervently up the wrong tree.
