This was to be a field-test of KUIT, using an unsuspecting guinea-programmer :) Only that Peter turned out not to be so unsuspecting. Not only that he equipped every message with a context marker, but also, without any suggestion on my part, he added a free-form context to great many messages, thus making all possibly ambiguous strings fully clear. I can *see* the GUI looking at Dolphin's PO. Furthermore, in almost every case Peter used exactly the context marker I would use myself, alleviating my fear that the chosen marker lineup was confusing. Thus, in my opinion, the field-testing passed with flying colors. Looking through the l10n-kde4, I see that many translators have already been exposed to new Dolphin strings. Since the KUIT retrofit is now complete, I nevertheless invite everyone to update Dolphin's translation (in kdebase/) and report here any thoughts. Soon thereafter, Tom can add KUIT as a prerequisite for kdereview; these are the requirements which new apps going into central or extragear modules should fulfill. At first I considered this Tom's suggestion a bit too harsh, but having Peter said he didn't feel KUIT to be much of a burden, now I cannot but agree :) =2D-=20 Chusslove Illich (=D0=A7=D0=B0=D1=81=D0=BB=D0=B0=D0=B2 =D0=98=D0=BB=D0=B8= =D1=9B) Serbian KDE translation team --nextPart2268384.sjYitQ4CiA Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBGmIfyMSGXgigGr3ERAoTtAKCQYCRAB0GXiwvXUK6W0zZMtusPfwCfR4dK TNWganQNFOSPhstBH/9q8Vk= =/Qu9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2268384.sjYitQ4CiA--
