I think it can only be the percentage sign (the [localized gettext] =20
error complains that the terminating character for the indicator =20
isn't a valid conversion specifier). But if I try escaping the % in =20
the translation, msgfmt complains that the variables don't match.

I can't change the msgid. Would someone please remind me how to cope =20
with a naked percentage symbol in a c-format msgid?
