Why is that difficult. If you develop documentation in stable and we translate
you get a situation where things in trunk are older than things in stable and
we all have to remember to forwardport things to stable or more likely,
translate the same things twice.
If you develop documentation in trunk and use the unfreeze periods to
backport to stable it is much easier for everybody to keep track of what is
going on.
This also gives you much more time to check what you are doing in trunk. In
the last unfreeze period some things were done in haste and the forward
porting was cumbersome. It gives us much more time to translate if the
development happens in trunk and gets backported to stable.
It is not my impression thattrunk is being used to write documentation for kde
4 at the moment, so what is really the objection?
