I know that i can also choose not to download the kde-packages from trunk, but when switching between branches and trunk and back (e.g. when starting translatiing kde 3.5 and 3.5.1) i'll end up with both anyway. Also with both trees combined I get a very good overview of what's finished, and what needs to be done. And things like search& replace (with consistency checks, or removing common made errors) it is nicer to have one tree in stead of two. And last but not least, it works, so why get the overhead of 2 catalogmanagers if one can do the job perfectly? Onother benefit of using symlinks is that I van choose the names of the file tree: i have 'gui' and 'docs', in stead of 'messages' and 'docmessages'. I changed this, because 'messages' and 'docmessages' are to similar, which confuses me.. Rinse
