This looks like a wrong use of %1 in the translation, but I can't figure out which string in kde is responsible for this error, and since I can't reproduce the message easily, I can't check which message the English version of kopete uses. The only string that uses the same translation is #: kio/global.cpp:254 Connection to host %1 is broken. Verbinding met host %1 is verbroken. (kdelibs/kio.po) The other string involved is probably this one in kopete: #: libkopete/kopetetransfermanager.cpp:147 #: protocols/msn/msnfiletransfersocket.cpp:222 Connection timed out Tijdslimiet voor verbinding overschreden If those strings are used to produce the message, then the English message should be wrong as well (Connection to host Connection timed out is broken.) Can someone check wich messages are used for the error message in kopete? Kind regards, Rinse
