I always found that KBabel (1.2) would crash when opening the seventh or 
eighth file in a session.  But generally it works OK for me.  (The place 
where I have problems is the translation database.  With nearly all files, 
KBabel will crash if the option to add the entries to the translation db is 
ticked, so I have to leave it switched off.)  I wonder if there is something 
about Fedora that is not agreeing with your version?
