This won't affect the branch.

"re-adding file in place of dead revision 1.*" means that the file already in 
repository, but it was deleted some time ago. It's just a warning.
When initially adding the file on the branch cvs requires a revision to create 
branch point. It creates dead revision 1.1 as the branch point, branch 1.1.2 
and revision 1.1.2.1 with the file you provide.

"cvs diff" errors are from scripts executed by rules in CVSROOT/loginfo or 
CVSROOT/commitinfo files. The scripts are used to send messages to kde-cvs@ 
mailing list. Don't worry about them.
