Hi

I am working on the translation of some documentation.

It appears that many of them are out of date.

The described functions or the screenshots do not match to the GUIs in many
cases.

The question is What is the best way to get some "clean" documentations ?

I think the best should be developers send an information to the docs writers
when new functions appear.

If not, there will be a huge effort of reading docs again and again, testing
the progs to detect new and deprecated features.

I thought translators could be the best bug reporters, but it appears most of
the teams do not translate much documentation, and usually do not report
errors.

So what is the best way to get up to date docs ? Is there a list somewhere ? I
think a simple public list of obsolete documentation could help people to
know what docs to report if they find them out of date.

Is there somebody or a team to check the consistency of all the
documentations ?

Thanks

Gerard
