Yes. Sorry, I'm not on the kde-i18n-doc list.

media.pot basically contains all the menu strings and those used in the PHP 
libraries used to build the site. To get the menus translated media.pot needs 
to be translated.

The rest of the files are the result of running the script to pick up i18n() 
strings (I implemented a PHP function like we used in the rest of KDE to 
handle translations) on the rest of the directories of the site. But 
unfortunately nobody has yet added i18n() calls to the text on the rest of 
the site, they are empty.

I just lack the time to do this... I guess a script maybe able to do it, but 
writing it may be quite hard.

I will try and help but I am really short of time at the moment (stupid 
exams).
