Yes, I switched the Country setting to the countries of the translated text
and selected the appropriate languages.
If I interpreted the kaboutdata code correctly the length of the QValueList of
the translators should't be zero regardless of the language:

I am using this function to set the values for the translator ( d is the
translatorstructure );

void KAboutData::setTranslator( const char *name, const char *emailAddress)
{
   d->translatorName=name;
   d->translatorEmail=emailAddress;
}

Then I am using this function to get the translatorlist:

const QValueList<KAboutTranslator> KAboutData::translators() const
{
    QValueList<KAboutTranslator> personList;
   if(d->translatorName == 0)
         return personList;
 ...

This function either returns if d->translatorName is zero, which shouldn't be
zero because of setTranslator(), or it appends the values to the list it
returns. The list then would even have a length if the list structure's
content would be empty(null).

My application already has a working translation. The strings in the
application are correctly translated if I run it.

Yes, this should be happening if I did everything correctly, but it does not.
