Documentation freeze date is always some time after the message freeze date= ,=20 it's very hard to write anything when the GUI is being rearranged underneat= h=20 you all the time. Many writers don't even start until the message freeze. Jonathan Drews had offered to help with some of this, I'm posting also the= =20 doc-english list as a call for help: KWord doc is largely done, but Mike is not available to work on it anymore,= so=20 it needs more or less a final proofread and any updates from the last few=20 weeks. KSpread is taken care of by Pam Roberts, but I'm not sure of the status of= =20 that, so, CC'ing Pam too. KChart and KFormula are taken care of by Jonathan Drews, and are ok as it=20 stands. =20 Kugar is written by it's own developers. =20 Kivio has no documentation at all (it never has, and we were previously=20 'discouraged' from providing any - I guess this situation changes now with = a=20 new maintainer.) KPresenter is probably the one with the most work to do, and I was going to= =20 have a go at cleaning that up myself in the next few weeks. If anyone is looking for something to do, this is a good place to start,=20 please follow up to this on the doc-english list. > Lauri: the "Mailing list information" link on the page mentioned in your > sig leads to nowhere... Works for me http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-doc-english In any case the documentation writers (what there are of us) use=20 kde-doc-english.
