Hi,

Those  who do not wish to translate city names and/or regional names can
use the following vi line:

:%s/\([(need|needs)] a translation)\\n\"\n\)\(.*\)\n\(msgstr .*\)/\1\2^M\3^M\2/g

Please substitiute control-VControl-M in vi command line for ^M out there,
and use it at your own risk. 

Please ignore that if there'as already a solution posted to this list..
