It is now 30 Khordad 1381 in the Jalali calendar.

The features are: years start on spring equinox, with the same origin as
Hijri calendar (Hijra of Muhammed), and have twelve months (Farvardin,
Ordibehesht, Khordad, Tir, Mordad, Shahrivar, Mehr, Aban, Azar, Day,
Bahman, Esfand). The first six are 31 days, next five are 30 days, the
last month is 29 days (or 30 in leap years). Leap years occur every four
years, with five year corrections every 33 years.
