This should is what the maintainer of kdemultimedia should be responsiblefor. 
I am getting sick of translating the same line in several programs. I bieleve 
the issue is similar to the IM client issue. There is no use in having zounds 
of them.  But certainly this is not the list for such discussions. It should 
go to kde-multimedia(-devel?).
