Hm, wait, I had a closer look at QMultiLineEdit. I'm afraid it's a little
bit more work than expected. For example I see easy way to  highlight
(underline?) text. But perhaps I just failed to notice something related
in QME's api/src...
KNotes does not support anything like this and KJots goes a different way
by offering a popup menu, containing "open url", for marked text.

So we can either write a more or less completely new widget, use khtml or
we view text without this feature.

Any other ideas/opinions? Perhaps I was wrong with my above statement and
it's possible to use QME for this?

My personal "vote" : I'd love to have this feature, but I myself currently
do not have the time to implement it :-)
(but I wouldn't like a htmlview-solution, because of possible speed loss)
