Still, GGZ interoperability would be nice (e.g. sharing accounts and highscores) even if we create the best thing since sliced bread, it would not be good for fanatic gamers to have all these different "networks". Would the server side of kbattle.net rely on Qt/KDE itself? Would there be one central server (single point of failure) or several dedicated servers? (very useful also at LANs etcetera) Another reason why I seperated KMonop from monopd (I remember now) is that I did not want Qt or KDE as requirement to run a server daemon.
