Hello, :: Nemanja Hirsl Samstag 16 Februar 2013 > Reason for the translation bug is the typo "New South Walles" instead of > "New South Wales" in the skin files which are downloaded from > http://newstuff.kde.org/cgi-bin/hotstuff-provider?site=ksirk. How these > files get updated on this site? I can prepare new archives, but not sure > how to update them. Thanks to Burkhard Lueck who tracked down the issue. The overall process for data hosting in connection with newstuff.kde.org is documented here: http://svn.kstuff.org/browser/trunk/hotstuff/svn-repos.txt Hence it's a model of three layers which for KsirK looks like the following. [SVN repository] -> [GHNS Repository] -> [Application w/ KNS] For the SVN access you will need a "kdedata" SVN account which is unrelated to all other KDE accounts - or alternatively connect the application's GHNS repository to another SVN account not hosted on this server, or connect the application to another GHNS repository entirely. Git is currently not supported by the Hotstuff processing scripts because the code hasn't seen updates for several years, though it wouldn't be terrible hard to add it, either, so that it'd become another alternative. Synchrotron would be a server-side alternative which supports Git. The last update to the ksirk section of the repository was made by kleag in 2008. Hence, if you just want a small maintenance update, performing the SVN commits would be the least amount of work. I'm going to send you your account information. On a side note, it looks like the SVN repository isn't used much anymore in general, with the last update having been nearly two years ago. I've now disabled all other accounts (including my own one) for security reasons and will re-activate them on request with a new password. I'd also like to point out that this repository isn't covered by KDE sysadmin backups so if there is interest in including it or storing a snapshot of it somewhere (currently 16 MB) to not lose history, go ahead.
