To get ideas for the testing of the games I compiled and started all games of kdegames - we actually have quite a lot :-) I wrote down some issues (as much as I could see from a 1 minute look at each game). Maybe they are of interest: A lot of games did not compile with me. But I suppose this is not the fault of the game but of me, because my kdelibs are a couple of weeks old - so ignore these!!! I try not to update the kdelibs if possible because I usually spend more time compiling the kdelibs than developing the games... The most important finding is in my opinion that KOLF still CRASHES my computer. It improved as much that it resets and restarts only X11 and not the whole computer. But annoying enough. As I can't see that my computer is so special that when KDE is released this does not occur with several other people I recommend to look into this. If people loose data when their email or word processor is killed because of KOLF we will get very bad reviews. atlantik - Does not compile bovo - Starts with a too small window (first start) + Demo nice, but I tought it was the game.. ...maybe indication that it is a demo + Graphic simple but actually very nice! + Themes ok ++ High contrast theme good to have!! - No Redo move Nice and ready kasteroids - Does not compile katomic + Graphic nice - Graphic: Walls dominate the screen somehow - Highscores dont work Nice and ready kbackgammon - Graphics plain - "New Game" in "Command menu"?
