I am also not familiar with the arts sound system: But it could make sense
to have a mini kde game wrapper library call for arts to have an super easy
interface without direct arts calls so that programming of  thy typical 
game sounds
(effects plus background music) is very simple.

Otherwise I would put a HOWTO on the kdegames webpage if someone
with arts knowledge wopuld write a littkle something with example.

Or both above?
