Being ISO-C++ conformant doesn't mean that you _must_ use all
the features it has. For example, using exceptions is only reasonable
if all modules of an application use it. I also don't see the why
namespaces are a must-have. People have used C++ over years and
have not died because they had no namespaces :-) C does not have
namespaces at all...
