It compiles ok with 

Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnu/egcs-2.92.16/specs
gcc version egcs-2.92.16 19981019 (gcc2 ss-980609 experimental)

without namespace

(with my fixed motif.cc (1.28) next.cc (1.14) etc.  put in the CVS 
yesterday AND with the few debugging lines in qpushbutton.h commented
out (see Jo message or grab the last revision)

Now I'm checking with egcs-1.1 ...


More seriously, has nobody managed to compile the stuff with a 
recent compiler on linux (egcs >= 1.1) except myself ?
