Ah. Something like that should fix it:

set_target_properties(KF5ItemViews PROPERTIES
  VERSION  ${KITEMVIEWS_VERSION_STRING}
  SOVERSION ${KITEMVIEWS_SOVERSION}
  EXPORT_NAME ItemViews)

'EXPORT_NAME' seems important.
