Dirk, some suggestion ? Hi everybody, This transition phase is quite a challenge for everybody and it will require an effort proportional to the size of each program. Those with smaller programs will probably be able to switch faster. But we wouldn't want to loose our flagship programs (which tend to be big). So in my opinion the gist of the previous discussion was to leave the KDE3 version in trunk and I would agree to that. For a while I'll continue to maintain the KDE3-version of KDiff3 anyway, just because KDE4 isn't there yet. For string translation: I assume that strings won't change that much just because of the switch. Would it be possible to create pot-files that contain all strings from both versions? So it wouldn't matter where these versions actually are under SVN. We could have just another subdirectory (even in trunk): "extragear-kde4". (For SVN it doesn't really matter. The dir would still have all properties of a branch, but scripty can create pot files that contain the merged strings.)
