This is short, nice in a URL, but useless in every other way.
This is also a well known brand - Wrigley Extra Sugarfree gum -
http://www.wrigley.com/wrigley/products/products_extra.asp
"google: svn extra" -> a mixed bag of crap
"google: kde svn extra" -> related, but still crap
> kdeextragear
As someone else said, this is redundant. About the only plus for it is the
nice acronym: "keg-2". "eg" is too small. 'eg/net/konvi", I guess.
Consider: "/trunk/kdeextragear/multimedia/cdbakeoven"
"google: svn kdeextragear" -> well, it hits some emails and the CVS digest.
But mostly its just noise.

This is good. Its short, to the point, and the website is already
"extragear.kde.org". Lets just keep the theme going. Some distributions even
include 'extragear' packages.
Its pretty much a KDE tradmark ("google: extragear -kde" and see what you come
up with :-)
"google: svn extragear" -> First hit already on topic, way less noise in the
rest. Its a clear field.
I vote +1 for 'extragear'. YAY for losing the -1 -2 -3!
Anyone taking bets how long it will take before we stop referring to "keg",
and stop typing "kdee<tab>" into the console? :-)
Eli.
