Ok, I did a little search and replace concerning your LinuxTag announcement.
Of course it still needs some of the usual improvements done by you :-)
Also you might want to mention the Comtec fair in Dresden, Germany, which will
happen at the same time.

KDE @ LinuxWorldConference & Expo 2001

The KDE Team today announced its plans for LinuxWorldConference and Expo
(http://www.linuxworldexpo.de), a European summit for the Linux community.
(Over 11,000 trade visitors and 100 exhibitors showed up at the European
debut last year). LinuxWorldConference & Expo 2001 will take place from
October 30 - November 1 in Frankfurt Fairgrounds, Germany.

Besides staffing a KDE booth where users can see the latest stable KDE 2.2.x
and a preview for the upcoming release KDE 3, ask questions and mingle with
KDE developers. One of the highlights will be the demonstration of KDEPrint
on an Epson for a Stylus Photo 890 and a 21-page-per-minute full-color Laser
(with CUPS and Gimp-Print drivers) by Kurt Pfeifle. KDE developers will also
make numerous presentations targeted at users and developers. The Conference
Program will offer a talk about "My work on developing KDE widgets" by
Jesper Pedersen (Senior Software Engineer, Klarälvdalens Datakonsult) and
"KDE - Past, Present, Future" by Martin Konold (Consultant SuSE Linux AG).

The KDE Team would like to thank the KDE League Inc.
(http://www.kdeleague.com), Epson (http://www.epson.com) and Danka
(http.//www.danka.de) for helping KDE at LinuxWorldConference & Expo 2001.

We invite everybody to meet KDE developers, KDE enthusiasts and of course our
mascot Konqi at the KDE booth.
