Hi,

I found Sebastians hint very useful.
It's done this way now:
return temp=i18n("division symbol", "/");
This makes sure, that the developer will know what this symbol should mean. 
And I think every Englisch speaking person knows the / and its equivalent in 
his/her own speech.
