ok, I was not sure. So

    $ cvs co -l kdenonbeta
    $ cd kdenonbeta
    $ cvs co admin  (or ln -s ../kde-common/admin .admin)
    $ cvs up klogoturtle
    $ make -f Makefile.cvs
    $ ./configure --prefix=$KDEDIR
    $ cd klogoturtle
    $ make
    $ su -c 'make install'

should work.
