oh, that's nice! What KLettres needs is
1) the most common letters of the alphabet in your language, each one in a
sound file (more than 1.5 second for KAudioPlayer to play it) for example
"a" spoken in a.ogg or a.wav ... The goal is to allow someone to learn all
the basic letters in your language.
A list of these sounds in a utf8 encoded text file (Kate)

2) some widely used syllables in your language (2 or 3 letters), each one in
a sound file as well. For example, in French, you have "MI", LA",...
A list of these sounds in a utf8 encoded text file.

It is not easy to record those sounds but it would allow portuguese schools
or families to use the program.

As we speak data:
KHangMan also needs data and it's easier here. It's all explained in the
add_language.php page on khangman website and Stefan, a Swedish translator,
made a script to ease the process. It's just a matter of following the
instructions and translating/adapting/adding words in each files (4).

As I am writing so much, a bit more:
Next feature for KHangMan is about having data in other files than the 4
current ones and I guess in that case we also will need to download it from
the internet. We plan to have data both for KHangMan and KMessedWords and
also to have syllables support in KMessedWords. A new developer (nickname
Jordi) is working on that. He is very interested in working with different
languages and he is familiar with KDE development (more than me!).

That's all for now, I guess women always write and speak too much ;-)
