this is an outsider's point of view.

I think, now that the kdeedu module exists, continuity and quality is=20
important.

So I'd suggest the following procedure:
1) import new projects into kdenonbeta
2) maintain and develop there
3) apply for kdeedu
4) the application is reviewed by KDE edu people, i18n people, KDE core p=
eople
5) discussion with maintainer on IRC or kde-edu-devel
if (4) and (5) are postitive move into kdeedu
if not continue at (2)

A similar procedure is used for kdegames and even people like Rop Kaper a=
nd=20
Neil Steven, who I consider both to be core developers, don't import to=20
kdegames directly.
