There are many other ways to enable an application to propose other langu=
ages=20
than the language of the GUI.
For example, you could split the hangman program into two programs:
- the first main program remains almost unchanged, and appears to the use=
r as=20
translated to his own language. For an Italian user, it's an Italian hang=
man.
- a small client program, hangman_client, just lists the words to guess o=
n=20
standard output If you call it by setting the language to "de" in its=20
environment, it will list German words. This way, the Italian user can pl=
ay=20
and guess German words.
- both programs are translated through the regular po mechanism.
