Hmm... I don't know Euklid, but teachers in Flanders (Northern,
dutch-speaking half of Belgium) are now using a program called Cabri, and I
can assure you that it has much more features than KGeo, most notably various
objects concerning conics (which we are learning about in the last year of
high school), a macro system, a more handy ui...

of course, this would be the better way to do things, and if i would start
over, it would certainly be what i would do... Unfortunately, i have already
coded quite a bit, and have made significant progress over KGeo.
I really don't see how both programs could be merged, the code is quite
incompatible...
And since I want to work on a good program, I'm just taking the program with
the best fundaments to continue work on, and in my opinion, this is Kig...

Hm, this seems like a nice idea... I'm adding it to the TODO file :)

This would prolly be combined with the last thing, no ?

I really wouldn't mind to work together with the KGeo author on this, I also
wouldn't mind to merge things and rename stuff (i would go for KGeo as a
name, if that was to happen :)
I have tried to contact the KGeo author too, but I have only had one reply
from him on my mails (or maybe he didn't get them ?)
If the KGeo author is reading this, and wants to attempt a merge, I would ask
him to contact me, I'm not such a difficult person to work with :), and it
would be more fun to work together on the program...
We could start immediately by fighting over which program will be the basis
for our efforts (if it is really necessary, I'd be willing to port my code to
KGeo, but i do think Kig would be a better basis...:)
Bye
